Those damn annual license tags

Last night immediately after leaving Pipe Dreams I was pulled over for expired license tags. I was pretty sure the officer knew that we (smokedamage and I) had just left the shop, so when he asked, "exactly where are you coming from" I had no real choice but to state the truth. So you can imagine me having to say we cam from Pipe Dreams and of course the next question being if we bought anything.

What's your friend tree look like?

So I realized last night that Smokey is: my ex-neighbor's ex-boyfriend's friend's friend's friend.

I am fast becoming friends with my ex-neighbor's ex-boyfriend's best friend who happens to also be the ex-neighbor's ex-boyfriend's ex-girlfriend who is messing around with the ex-neighbor's ex-boyfriend's friend (the same one alluded to in the sentence above).

Of course if I used names (which those involved probably already know their place in the lineage) then it would make much more sense. But alas, this is just more fun.
