One thing marked off my to-do list

If there is one absolutely fantastic thing about my previously working with the YMCA it would have to be their benefits. If I had children, their childcare and camps and programs are dirt cheap. I know that I paid less than most friends I've compared with regarding health insurance. I subsidized a year an a half of full-time school and research on my previously accrued retirement account that was completely and totally free to me.

I will soon have the accrued retirement funds from this last stint working with the YMCA and will be set for about the next 6 months. Not having to worry about bills during that time due to unemployment issues: priceless.
