I Blame Takhisis

[livejournal.com profile] takhisis recently posted about mis-heard lyrics, and now my brain keeps insisting on mis-hearing songs on purpose. These are songs that I know damn well what the words are, but once my brain gets started I just keep hearing the wrong lyrics, which usually hurts to some extent.

For instance, Big In Japan, by Alphaville, is now "Big In Ja Pants"

Help.

EDIT: Extended Lyrics for "Big In Ja Pants"
(they don't completely make sense, but this is just what my brain has done to me)

Oh you're big in ja pants
Tonight
Big in ja pants
So tight
Big in ja pant
Ooh, the in..seam so blue

Big in ja pants
Alright
Means you have to sleep on your side
It's the reason when you're big in ja pants

[I just picture tri-pod propping of oneself on the bed]

Someone, way way back in the eighties, told me that they always said "Bat Masterson" where Bon Jovi sang "Bad Medicine". I would like to submit the first and longest-running earworm, as that is STILL what I hear when I hear that song.
