I just spent my night (it's 4:45am and I think I just heard K&E leave the apartment to head to work) reading up through Oct 26 of LJ. Damn people sure do post a lot. :)

News: The hummus turned out different from what I expected, but the blind taste test proved mine to be the more zesty(?) with stronger garlic and lemon flavor. It was also simultaneously more chunky (not as smooth) and not quite as think compared to the professional made hummus. So there were a lot of differences, but with just a couple of ingredients, it will be an easy recipe to play around with.

For [livejournal.com profile] flemco, here are the recipes I used:
Hummus recipe
Tahini Sauce video recipe (very short, as is the recipe)

More News: I was pretty disappointed in my GRE scores. They were 610 verbal and 690 quantitative. Considering that I received a perfect 800 on two separate practice tests for the quantitative, I was expecting at least 700 if not closer to 750 in that arena. Considering my verbal skills and how the GRE is set up, I'm not surprised by the 610 there, but I still wish it was better.

Who in the hell thought that a 10 minute break would be enough of a break during a brain-intensive, staring at a computer monitor for 4 hours, test? My eyes were already blury before starting the first quantitative, let alone an hour and half later when I had to start the second quantitative test, which is the one that I'm sure I was graded on.

I'm glad you were able to try it. I was worried with everything else going on that it would easily be forgotten and go bad. I will surely make more at some point.
