I can't win

So two weeks ago I hit my 40 hours worked just in time for me to go home Friday, December 22nd. Our work week runs from 12:01am Sunday until 12 midnight Sunday night. I had a report that was due at 6:30am Tuesday, December 26th. They won't approve for me to have overtime, so I couldn't do the report anytime before Christmas Day and I had plans all day on Christmas (my choice). So I came in to work between 3-4:30am Tuesday morning so that they could have their report that I would get yelled at if it wasn't done.

Instead I get yelled at for coming in to work at o'god awful in the morning. "The YMCA doesn't want to be liable if something were to happen to you."
