I think you Aussies are on to something

So [livejournal.com profile] smokedamage has mentioned many times about how much he misses walking into a pub with various colors of bills in his pocket. Without thinking he has associated different colors with an approximate different number of drinks, thereby bypassing having to use the brain while in the pub. He also misses the coins left in the pocket at the end of the night, the better to buy a kabob with, my dear.

I think this is such a great idea, the cash bar, because it would keep a person like me from continually forgetting my debit card at the club. I always forget to close out my tab before leaving and did not disappoint my adoring fans last night.

So, [livejournal.com profile] seci, it looks like I will definitely be going back out there tonight so that I can get my card back before it gets lost to card oblivion again.

1. its kebab! or a yeeros in my new hood.
2. the lack of use of brain also ends up in the loss of yellow notes (50s) without recalling exactly when or how... this is not a good thing!
3. if i put a card over the bar i'd be broke! at least by taking cash i know i have to stop at some point...
4. where'd you go last night?

Yeah, I wasn't sure how to spell kebab.

Luckily, I have never run up a tab more than I was already expecting to spend. The credit card tabs are the norm around here, but yeah, I'm thinking that I better start doing the cash thing.

Thursday night was The Church, Friday night was a pool party, tonight is our Cyberpunk game and I've been asked about going to Scarborough Faire (http://www.scarboroughrenfest.com/) on Sunday, but it will depend on how late we are up tonight with the game.
