Some of the daily dictionary.com articles, spotlights, and flash cards are pretty interesting.

They are also somewhat scary - this is how Idiocracy starts it's world-wide movement.

Oh, and incidentally, I actually agree with the Plain Writing Act, to a point. That being said, if we're going to make government documents read just like how +/- 2 standard deviations of the population talks, I'd still re-word the example presented at the end of that article a bit further:

You don't get to get paid for the same claim twice, dumbass. If you try to pull one over on us, you're going to have to pay us back.

Rider: You're the reason we have to write this shit out into red tape documents in the first place. Cut that shit out!
