It's thick and slightly chocolaty flavored, but I prefer the cream stout because the cream flavor cuts the chocolate flavor just a bit. I really can't do beers like Guiness, but I can do thick, flavored stouts, like the Banana Nut Bread one that I posted about a few months ago.
And Hefeweizen. I <3 Hefeweizens. Shiner, here in Texas, makes a great selection of beers, including their Hef (the only good Texas beer that I will ever recommend), so if you can find them in your neck of the woods try them out.
You need some good places to buy beer. We've got Central Markets and Flying Saucers everywhere, both geared towards providing a HUGE selection of beers.
