Feels A Bit Like A Dream

I really wasn't expecting to ever have to move from this apartment until I got into a grad school. It's causing a low level of anxiety that I really wasn't expecting, but I'm living through it well enough.
All the major furniture (from the living room; bedrooms are so far untouched save for Tom moving his bed over) is at the house, and now the living and dining room lookbarren spacious and give off a great echo resonance.
The washer and dryer have also been moved to the new place, but without water (should hopefully be turned on in the next day or two) and with connectivity issues (see, it's not just an internet lingo term), they are both currently out of commission for a bit longer. I'll probably take advantage and do a load of clothes at my parents' like I did when living back in Arlington.
All of my boxes that have gone over so far are in my new closet that still requires shelving. It's a nice-sized walk-in closet (4.75' x 8'), but its nothing but bare walls at the moment. I wish I had the money for Elfa, but I'll probably go with something simpler and/or cheaper. I really can't stand wire shelving anything, so finding a compromise between good wood, built-in look, and cheap will be fun. Worse case I'll build and install something myself, but I really don't feel like spending the time and effort at the moment.
I need to buy another curtain for the second window. Or at least consider it for a future purchase.
I'm also thinking colors for the bedroom. K&E said painting was fine. I'm thinking about going back to my dark gray and black if they'll let me. It may not be my home, but I'll feel much more at home with those wall colors, and I can't imagine any single person that could possibly board in K&E's home to not like those colors.
Damn. I just bought this garment rack, and now see one at 1/3 the price. Why didn't they have these in the store?
Mini Rant: Why must web pages with many items have the "Next Page" button all the way back at the top of the page? Note to web designers who haven't learned this yet: PUT IT AT BOTH THE TOP AND THE BOTTOM. Think of it as sex. No one wants just one or the other. Variety, that's the ticket.
