Driving home at 7pm.

I got to watch an idiot drive up too fast, ignoring everyone's hazard lights and no longer able to stop with the use of brakes, and ram the butt end of the minivan that was right next to me (the butt of the vehicle was even with where my front door meets my front driver's side panel) as we crossed a black-iced bridge. I couldn't speed up 'cause, duh, I'm driving on ice and refused to loose control of my own vehicle. I could barely swerve in anticipation that the minivan would be stupid and also start to swerve into my lane without again possibly loosing control of my vehicle. I'm just lucky/happy that the fast car was in the lane next to mine instead of in my lane.

No incidents befell my car.

I'm hoping the same holds true for the hour de-icing and commute to work in the morning in order to make the normally 15 minute drive to be in to work by 7am.
