I am undertaking a great process - to tag every single LJ entry I've ever made.

I never used tags in LJ before, and I find that after a few years of use I want to be able to quickly go back and find/read certain entries. Or maybe I'm in a mood and want to read similar entries.

Truly there is madness in my method.

I've been working on that for a while. It really, really, really sucks. The only thing that makes it bearable is to add entries I can't entirely decide on to the "untagged" list so I can at least find them. It's moments like this when I really need an intern.

Oh man, I feel you. Over the summer, I went through ALL of my old journal entries and changed the authorization statuses (? how do you pluralize "status"...) to what I felt was appropriate for me now (some "public"s to "friends only" or "private" and some "friends/private" to public, etc...), sometimes adding tags, when I'd remember. I've had this mama-jamma since 2001, so that was quite a feat. (and one I'm SURE I'll do again).
