Hm - password revisited

For some reason my brain thought again about the password rule used by delicious.com

If the password is supposed to increase in difficulty so as to prevent hackers, then you sure as hell shouldn't limit the letters and numbers that can be used in it. Given that combinations are exponential in growth, the reverse holds just as true. For every character you leave out of a potential password, you decrease that password's ability to not be hacked.

If you are hacker and know this is a rule being used, it would be that much more tempting to try and exploit it.
