Info about YMCA Camp Carter

Here is a copy of the email with the information about the families going to Camp Carter on the otherside of Fort Worth and what kinds of supplies they need.

Dear Friends:

We are going to be accepting hurricane refugees at Camp Carter in the next 24 hours.

This is an Association project and we certainly need your help. Many of you have asked what we need. Now you can help!!


You can provide

a "Bed in a Bag" which includes:

twin sheet set (other sizes are ok, but our beds are twin)
blanket
towel
washcloth
pillow
pillow case
Please pack in a large trash bag


These do not have to be new, they do not have to match.

If you can deliver them to camp by Saturday at noon that would be FABULOUS!!! We need you help!!!


Other things needed:

Right now the bedding is most essential, but we also need the following:

Shampoo
Deoderant
Toothpaste
Toothbrushes
Razor
Shaving Cream
Tampons / Pads
First Aid Supplies
toilet paper

Baby Diapers
Wipes
bottles
baby food
baby formula
zip lock bags
diaper rash cream

women's underwear
men's underwear
kid's underwear
cribs
high chairs
kid's toys



They will be arriving by 11:00 am on Saturday. If you are not out of town and can volunteer we would love your help. Please RSVP if you are coming. I need you! But there may be a lot of standing around at first. Not everyone shows up on Sat morning. Sat afternoon and evening will be good too.

Please help with the bedding. We will be supporting the city's efforts.
