I'm still reading about volcanoes and learning about their relative sizes.
I wonder how much affect a volcanic winter from a supervolcano would have on the global warming state towards which we appear to be heading. (The same question would hold for a large impact winter as well.) Could such a "winter" period have enough effect to reverse effects of human-induced global warming, or would they somehow combine to make everything overall more unstable instead?
