Spoke too soon
Aug. 30th, 2013 09:45 pmFirst day of something not breakin.....shit.
So, Wednesday I wasn't able to watch The Bridge because my TV is managing to go out and is pixellating the crap out of any incoming signals. I tested two different component cables with the cable box and the DVD player separately, and then verified with a coax cable with the same results, so I know it's something within the TV. Tom lent me a smaller TV yesterday, which I'm hoping to get set up tomorrow. Otherwise, I felt most comfortable just sitting on the couch doing nothing but cross stitch yesterday.
I came home from class this evening and ran into Eileen who asked me if anything broke around me today.
Nope.
Right about then Amber Kitty came out of my room, so I picked up the tiny plastic whiffle ball she plays with and tossed it into the kitchen. It went not only between the fridge and the cabinet, which it does tend to end up in that small space often, but it somehow managed to turn the 90-degree corner and wedge itself behind the fridge. Eileen was witness to this.
I managed to "break" Amber's Ballball with one throw. :/
So, tomorrow, along with setting up the little TV, I'll also have to move the fridge out to retrieve Amber's little yellow whiffle ball.
At this point, I'm afraid to do laundry tomorrow.
