What the hell is a bitcoin?

I actually saw this as one of the options to pay for something I purchased the other day online, but I had no clue what it was. Now I'm coming across this article and I'm a bit flummoxed.

(I think I just wanted to use the word flummoxed in a sentence today. I have no idea why.)

Also, my Firefox was just upgraded to 20.0.1 and my Firefox 2 theme failed. Now my bookmark toolbar and tabs are clashing with the Aero-themed other toolbars. Ugh. Welcome to the age of annoying technological updates.

*Edit - I found a temp fix for my theme by downloading a "disable compatibility check" add-on. I don't like it as a fix, though.
