Last test time I ended up seriously poked in the eye and a badly bruised rib/cartilage for a couple weeks.
This time, I managed to get socked in the lip, and oddly enough, I did this damage to myself. It didn't break the skin, but it definitely busted the lip on the inside, so it properly swelled up and required an ice pack for the first hour. Another guy got a thumb compression to his right rib cage area, and a third guy got racked (see next paragraph) and also started breathing so hard from the attack drills he was hyperventilating and turning red. O_o
I managed to get the nickname Ball Breaker this class session, as I accidentally hit one guy with my fists when I was aiming for his thighs (during testing), and my leg hit another guy twice during the regular class because he was doing a move incorrectly and my leg ended up between his each time he knocked me to the ground. It really had nowhere else to go but up. Nothing like asking the instructor, "Please show him what he's doing wrong so that I'll stop racking him."
