I am all for multi-language training at a young age. The discussions about an "official" language in America hurt my brain. Sadly, no matter how long this topic continues on, there are always those bright bulbs in the box that manage to prove so strongly the anti-point that they are otherwise attempting to argue against.

OK I am trying to understand all this.
1st I do think it is wrong not to hire someone for not speaking spanish no matter what it is wrong this is the US. and there are lots of languages in the us. but we only bend over backwards for spanish and no other language and this should be a lawsuit to say "we as a nation will do what ever it takes to make spanish speaker feel ok but not anyone eles.
Also it has been awhile back but on the news there was a lawsuit on a company for fireing 2 people for not speaking english, the people said that this is wrong that they could not be fired for not knowing english.............
so what I am asking is if you can not fire someone for not speaking english how can a company refuse to hire someone who does not speak spanish?would that not be breaking the same law? or maybe this law is only for people that do not speak english!!!!!and if so then all of us english speakers need to sue also!!!
ps- I think the more english speakers that will be moving into el paso in the next 3years due to bliss will make good changes for el paso because they will not spend there money where they are not understood which means there will be more english speaking jobs here.
I hope anyway.
