In the past week I've received 3 collection letters.

All for places I have not gone and using check numbers I don't have.

I've verified with one of the companies from which 2 of the letters came that the checks are written on an account at a bank I don't do business with.

They're using my driver's license number.

Is now the right time to mention how ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY PISSED I am about this?

Going into attack mode in 3...2....

I have to call each city where checks were written to file a police report. I'm now up to 3 cities.

The inconsiderate asses couldn't just shop around in the same shopping center for one afternoon. Apparently they had to drive around all day, crossing city boundaries in the process.

My head hurts.

From last night's CNN watching, we got a hell of a lot more than we bargained for. After the press conference on the shooting, Larry King came on and we were instantly mind-boggled that he had Dr. Phil as a guest to discuss the shootings. So we watched out of pure curiosity. That first few minutes was pretty mock-tastic on it's own. After the commercial break two more guests were included in the discussion. The result was priceless, and now recorded for posterity.

In this corner:
Tom Kenniff
former JAG officer in Iraq
now a criminal defense attorney

[livejournal.com profile] disgruntledgrrl was able to find a video just shortly after it aired that someone posted by using their cell phone to record their DVR playback. (Ain't technology grand - Welcome to the future) That vid is pretty short, so I thought I'd check around today to see if someone managed to post a slightly longer version.

And in this corner:
Shoshana Johnson
former POW of Iraq
now on the advisory panel for the Veteran's Administration

Luckily, the official Larry King website has the full interview. Trust me - it's worth watching from the beginning. Be sure to watch Shoshana's initial reaction when Tom first starts to provide his insight (at ~2:51 in the video). You sure as hell can't miss the rest of what happens.

FIGHT!
