Movie Night update

The Black Hole with the boys was a success. They are starting to finally enjoy the movies I bring and to actually sit still through the whole movie.

Next up: The Ice Pirates

After that: The Borrowers

Strangely enough, I can't find this version of The Borrowers in IMDB (1973, starring Eddie Albert).

Halloween Memories

I remember being around 6 years old (give or take a year) and having the Measles. (It might have been the Mumps, either way, it started with an M.) I was forbidden to go trick-or-treating in my condition. Instead I was wrapped in my robe and got to sit at the door and hand out candy to all the other lucky kids that got to go trick-or-treating.

I have photographic evidence, but it's at my parents' house....somewhere.

I was allowed to sit there and eat as much candy as I could since I wasn't allowed to gobble up treats handed to me by the neighbors.

I wonder how many kids I made sick with the Measles that year by handing out tainted wrappers?
