Here are pics of the plants in front of my bank that I mentioned in one of my comments to you. They are just a different type of agave, right? Sorry for the poor quality, but I felt a little out of my league trying to get pictures of the bank's specialized security measures the bank's landscape. Does this also mean that the two in bloom are soon to die once the bloom has finished its course?

Also, note the lush rosemary bushes on the left of the first pic. I get to pass by those pretty often. If we ever run out at home I'll know where I can still grab a bunch of fresh sprigs.

Plant 1
Plant from in front of my bank. There's a large...thing...sticking out from it which has turned from a green color to a yellowish color.

Plant 2
The base of the plant on the left and a couple of others like it nearby, but no...thing...sticking out of them.

Plant 3
One the other side of the parking lot is another slightly smaller plant with a slightly smaller thing sticking out of it.

But while it's thing is a bit smaller, it's also a bit wider in girth and looks like a closed umbrella with its silhouette.
