How is this even possible?

I really don't understand humans and red tape systems. I really, really don't. And some people wonder why I'd rather work with computers. At least with a computer you can look at the programming and answer the question, "Why in the world did you do this?"

I'm not sure if I should call fucking poor taste or balls of fucking steel for going forward with the printing without any mention of her her assassination regarding the Parade's Sunday article on Benazir Bhutto. The article itself is wonderful and almost brings tears to my eyes, but to print without some sort of insert or post-script regarding her assassination absolutely floors me. At first I questioned it and then discussed it briefly with my roommates, who thought it would talk about what she had done and how her martyrdom will affect the country. Nope. It's her last formal interview, but the article makes no mention of the fact that she is now dead.

[livejournal.com profile] channonyarrow, given your position in publishing, I'd like to hear your comments/view on it.

In the same Parade is the formal announcement for a class action lawsuit against Take-Two for the purchasers of GTA: San Andreas that received copies that included the gratuitous "Hot Coffee" sex scene.

I really wish I could purchase the Martha Washington Cookbook and the Thomas Jefferson Cookbook. I'm a sucker for advertisements. :)

Lastly, I still want to see Stardust.

This is the first formal heavy wood and leather furniture style to ever really grab my attention and hold on for dear life. The design work and the fact that it's a "deep 'Black Rose' finish" is what truly intrigues me.
