I found some recipes that seem simple enough, so I'm planning on making them tomorrow night. I don't think that the three things officially go together. Regardless, I'm planning to make them for the same meal even though it will be more eclectic than a three-course with some actual thought behind it. (I blame my OCD for this.) They just all look tasty in their own right and that's enough motivation for me to experiment. I'll have to time everything out as each one takes a different amount of cook/chill time (40min, 7min, and 3hrs).

1) Sweet Potatoes with Cinnamon Butter
2) Herbed Portobellos with Cheese
3) Chocolate-Espresso Parfaits

I may save #3 for Friday night since K&E usually can't have caffeine once they get home on a work night. Also, we tend to have company Friday night and this recipe makes 8 servings instead of 4 (hint, hint [livejournal.com profile] the_paco - also there's a new shiny gadget here for you to fondle).


I also found a recipe for Crepes Suzette. What the hell is the difference between Suzette and Romanoff? I know some of you have actual training regarding FOOD, so fill me in.
