I must replace my two every-day winter shoes that I've worn the past three years. My tastes are quite simple, but apparently too much to ask for in today's high style setting.
I'd really love to find some hook-grommet, lace-up short boots, with no more than an inch heal, preferably 1/2 inch, and rounded toe. For a perfect visual, see the boots on Ms. Kitty here. (Can't I just steal her boots?) I'd prefer hook-style rather than eyelet-style grommets, but eyelet will definitely suffice.
If you happen to see boots fitting this description, please let me know, as "simple" appears to be currently out of style. (No catalogue orders - I must be able to try them on first.)
PS - while looking on the web I came across these pretties.
Double-Buckle Calf-High Boots, with noticeably NO mention in the description of the on-board security (knife) holder
EDIT: WTF - this shoe is still trying to decide what it wants to be when it grows up.
