I jokingly state on a regular basis that I can't cook, but the truth is that aside from one incident involving Foolproof Fudge (which was far from foolproof and sparked my love for the phrase "foolproof systems don't take into account the ingenuity of fools"), I have never had a dish turn out bad.

I simply DON'T cook. Most recently this has been due to my work schedule, but on most occasions it's a matter of supreme laziness. PB&J really works for me.

A chef, I am not. I have to have a recipe.

Therefore, I shall try my hand little bits at a time to make meals to feed the commune. I still shy horribly away from meat, but I'm working on getting over that. If anyone has some good recipes that might work for someone like me, throw them my way.

First up, an appetizer: hummus (just because I keep craving the stuff, not to be confused with The Stuff, which I know from experience makes an excellent apple dip: marshmallow cream and cream cheese mixed together - YUM).
