It's one of those kind of posts
Aug. 29th, 2007 08:48 pmYep, it's just the "I'm still alive" post.
Without LJ at work, I have lost most of the reason to post updates. By the time I get home from work I tend to plop in a dvd or start up a game, and I don't think twice about getting caught up on the rest of the world. Usually if there's something important I hear about it from
disgruntledgrrl.
Working full time at a job I despise takes it's toll.
My class just started this week. This semester it's Multivariate Statistical Methods, which is cross-referenced as the grad-level Regression Analysis course. I was approved to take it due to my work in the psych research lab, despite not having the basic stat pre-req course. This will be my fifth grad-level course to take as an undergrad without having had any pre-reqs under my belt. If I really wanted to try for it, I could probably get approval to skip the basic stat class and go on to one of the other grad math courses instead (Applied Linear Models or Categorical Data Analysis). Of course, there would be a lot of headaches involved in trying to change a class on my degree plan (again) one semester before hopefully graduating. I'd also have to make sure that one of the classes are even being offered in the spring. Lastly, I would be taking it at the same time I take Advanced Discrete Math. Ok, so I just talked myself out of the idea.
My sister is doing well at my parents' house. She's staying on doctor-prescribed medications for once and doing well since rehab. My nephews' dad got out of jail a while back so the boys spent some time with him before school started. Cameron is already in Kindergarten which floors me to think about it. Colton finally started calling me by my name out of nowhere, of course it comes out as, "a-ni," as Aunt Nikki is just too much for a beginning talker.
I could ramble on and on about other things, but Fatal Frame is calling me. Off to the X-Box I go.
