I've had my current computer for 5 years now and I still love it do death ~ which is why if it locks up one more time I'm really going to kill it. We tried everything to figure out why it keeps randomly locking up. As far as we can tell it's simply overheating, and most likely from the poor Dell case airflow and the addition of a much better graphics card that I purchased about a year ago. (That graphics card has been the only upgrade that I've made to the computer and only because it was required to play Oblivion.) Regardless of why it's being a bad child, I'm using it as an excuse to upgrade into the new PCI-SLI technological age.

Here's what I'll be putting together later this week. My soon-to-be Computer

The only thing I backed down from was getting the Core 2 Duo instead of the Core 2 Quad processor. The ONLY reason I didn't get the Quad was that it's FSB was 1066 instead of 1333.

There was also a part of me that wanted the get the most interesting video card I saw. Come to find out, I can always add the fan with heat sink separately. Even more horrific, I can get it in glowing safety orange and safety orange plus.
