The Aloe

My aloe has come to realize that it is in my care and is trying to escape. Really. I promise you. The damn thing has separated itself and is rolling out of it's pot.

This is not what I am bugging the LJ world to say.

While searching for any info I can find on aloes until I am able to get advice from sclerotic_rings (resident plant guru extrodinaire), I came across this fun little ebay auction for an Aloe Pet-Tree Plant for Mp3 Key Chain. This item alone just seems wrong, but check out the description a little further down on the page. My favorite claim: They could absorb the electromagnetic spectrum such as cell phone.

If that's the case, then aloes should be planted all around every known telephone and electrical tower and especially around electric plants. The magical aloe could absorb all of that damaging electricity that is causing people to develop cancer.

EDIT: Wow, these plants, Echeveria Lola and Echeveria Prolifica, are so amazingly beautiful. I find the Prolifica intriguing because of its native fractal pattern. It would be awesome if they came in some shade of black or deep purple. I wonder if you could add food coloring to the water just like you do with roses.

I know a few people who would actually buy this.
