I remember when my grandfather was in the hospital about a month before he passed away. He was trying to get me to go flirt with a boy just a few rooms down from his. Being the shy type, I jsut turned red at the prospect. I hadn't seen my grandfather for a few years prior to getting sick, at which point he moved back to Texas and I was able to visit with him a few times. He was always saying what a pretty girl I was and that I had no excuse for not turning all the boys' heads. He was such an optimist over his granddaughter. (This just randomly popped into my head just now and I felt like getting out into a post.)

I had a dream last night of my sister dying followd by a dream of a friend attempting to rape me. WTF!

On a happier note, I will hopefully be trying out a new program so that I can start learning Flash programming. I realy wish I had [livejournal.com profile] isotripy here so that I could watch her in action for a bit before starting my own. I decided that I needed a goal program in order to help focus my self-learning. I won't know until I start trying if my goal is too big or not. I came up with two ideas. The first is to go out to Grapevine and get pictures of the hatch that we found. I could then try my hand at creating a flash video with the pitures strewn together, similar to what [livejournal.com profile] takhisis did for On the Banks of Lethe. Hopefully it will turn out like an intro to a scary movie as though the character is walking towards the hatch with each picture flashing on the screen with a sound effect and separated by a black screen. Sounds simple enough. :/ The second idea is some sort of flash puzzle game in which there's a labyrinth-house in which the walls move every hour, a la Thir13en Ghosts. I have no idea beyond that what I'll be adding as content, but at least it gives me a starting point.
