I just remembered

Last year my cousin decided to join um...one of the military branches. I honestly don't remember as I only see him two days a year, and I didn't see him at Christmas because he was still in training at the time.

The other night my mom gave me an update on him.

He's decided to go to Baghdad. I think he ships out this week.

I officially have a relative both in the military and about to go fighting. This is a first for our family. As you can tell, I'm not very close to him, so I don't have very strong emotions about him going. I do wish him luck however in staying safe and sane, although the latter might be difficult as he's never really been the sharpest tool.
