Too bad it wasn't a month and a half ago. One of the jobs I applied for working with some emergency assistance place (similar to FEMA, if not FEMA itself since I can't remember for sure) called today and offered an interview time tomorrow. Around $14/hr with 10-12 hour days and perhaps 6 days a week, overtime paid perhaps based on the daily hours worked (over 8 hours=overtime) instead of weekly hours worked (over 40 hours=overtime), at least that's how he made the overtime sound. I would be answering incoming calls, which would be boring as shit and especially given the hours worked per week. But damn that would be some mad money to play with.

Ugh, if only I didn't feel so guilty about taking the full-time job here at the Y. And if only I thought this job opportunity wouldn't burn me out in 5 days.

It is imperative that I get responses on this question. The balance of the universe depends on it.

What would YOU like to see put into the working candy machine that will be displayed in the living room?

I shall have it filled by the next CP2020 gaming session, so players' responses count extra. It accepts pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. It might possibly accept half dollars, SusyB or Sacha.who dollars, but I've never tried any of those, and I doubt it will take silver dollars simply because they're so huge.

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] josephine, I already thought about our chocolate goodness chex, but we would start getting hand cramps turning the knob if we put that in there, so that's out.
