I've never really noticed the physical distance that can separate people until now. I know it's always been there, but I've always been so close before.

I wanted to thank everyone that helped us move over the weekend. It was a really long move, with K&E finally turning in old apartment keys on Tuesday, considering that they had hoped to turn in keys on Saturday before gaming.

Oops, I forgot to get the boys next door to my old apartment to disconnect the cable splitter before turning in the key to my apartment. But I may have a plan for that. *crosses fingers* Of course, the poor guys will no longer have access to my wireless. "Sorry guys"

[livejournal.com profile] reneat, the show will have to wait until the mound o' boxes is cleared from the living room and I am able to un-Tetris my closet where the DVD box is hidden away. I'm hoping this will be accomplished at least by this weekend.

DSL should be on at the apartment, but it probably won't be until this evening at the earliest that we get all the computers hooked up. The phone jacks in my room aren't working and we have to set up my computer with the DSL modem first before setting up the other computers for [livejournal.com profile] corzican, [livejournal.com profile] koed or [livejournal.com profile] disgruntledgrrl. Therefore we are now at the mercy of either the apartment office or SBC to get the phone jack working properly.

Same boss walking through the office.
This time Z.N.S. by E.N. was playing.
"What are you listening to now?"
*big sigh* "It's a German band called Einsturzende Neubauten and they play industrial music."
"Your a special soul, Nicole, but I love ya anyway."

I hope she gives up soon. But then what would I have to blog about?
