Road Trip - But Not Really

I feel like going down to Corpus Christi or Galveston over Thanksgiving weekend, but there are too many factors stacked against it. For starters, my mom's side of the family which normally celebrates Thanksgiving dinner Wednesday night has moved it to Friday night this year, since both of my cousins will be out of town until then. I really have no money for a road trip right now. I'm sure that hotel/motel rooms are pretty well booked already or perhaps more expensive due to the holiday. There other things involved as well.

Either way, I hate it when I think of something fun to do but the world is stacked against me on it.
