May. 15th, 2005 03:20 amDay 1 of Cyberpunk 2020 - I am no longer a role playing virgin and my dice are just getting warmed up. It went well. It was a bit slow as we spent time getting to know each other both in-game and out-of-game. It's a lot of information to take in at once. (I assume that's normal as no one was complaining and I can tell it will pick up.) I'm glad that we were able to start getting in to some of the action. disgruntledgrrl fed us wonderfully with hamburgers that couldn't fit into your mouth, huge baked potatoes and hot wings. Us ladies received special treats of fuzzy navel frozen drinks followed by orange cream drinks. Yum.
In other news - ALLERGY ATTACK FROM HELL! After 2 Allegra pills, a Claritin-D, an OTC pill (can't remember what kind, the later two given to me bydisgruntledgrrl, two full boxes of kleenex and half a box of menthol kleenex, I think I might still attempt to chop off my nose. I will be taking a Benadryl in the hopes that I might be able to breathe again in the morning. I always hate it when my nose has been blown so many times that the skin has been rubbed raw and the warm air coming out as I breathe stings like a mother. The poor CP crew had to put up with my constant sneezing and honking away. Not to mention the number of times that I just got up from the table to go blow my nose closer to the kitchen so that everyone could hear what was going on. I guess we'll see how it goes tomorrow.
