I have a new web site which I will at first be using to post pictures. Hopefully I will be able to start making it look pretty now that [livejournal.com profile] smokedamage has installed Dream Weaver on my computer. Talk amongst friends of an impending porn site are unfounded. Sorry, Charlie. There's nothing there yet, as I just got it a couple of days ago. I just finished copying a bunch of photo's onto my computer which now have to be sorted. But I should have some up hopefully before the week's end. I'll keep everyone posted of updates to the site via LiveJournal.

The .tk was [livejournal.com profile] smokedamage's brilliant idea. Just to point out the obvious (except in my case it seemed to take me a while to figure this one out on my own), the .tk should be easy to remember because, well, it's short for Tricky Kitty. It actually stands for the small island of Tokelau, which you can read about here.

So I have finally made my way into a fleshed out character for a role playing game. As beginner's luck would have it, I HAVE A CHARACTER SECRET! Our GM is [livejournal.com profile] koed and we will be playing CyberPunk 2020. Not quite the Vampire Masquerade of which I have multiple books sitting on my bookshelf, but perhaps it's for the best.

I've seen this many times, but still get a kick out of it whenever I see it. I'd like to actually figure the thing out from a cognitive standpoint, but that is a task very low on my list of to-do items.

Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a total mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.

Here's a quiz. Take the word "ghoti". This word represents a common word in the English language and can be phonetically pronounced. What is it and why?
