We're in music heaven again
I finally found a website that, for the time being, allows me to create custom mp3 playlists that I can access at work. Project Playlist searches the web for links to mp3's and then embeds them into a playlist that you can mess around with, and you can create multiple playlists to fit your mood. You are at the mercy of the links, but searching for music is pretty damn easy, and if one link goes down you can usually find a replacement link without a problem. You can listen to other users' playlists and steal mp3s from them to add to your own, and you can add them as a buddy if they have good taste.
It's obvious that they kiss the ass of MySpace, but for once I'm happy with the results. Take a wild guess what my user name is.
I still horribly miss my LaunchCast and
disgruntledgrrl has turned me on to Pandora, which again I can only get at home. I'm still playing with the mp3s that we have back at the apartment before loading them onto my mp3 player. I can access them at work, but they have to download from the server one at a time and sometimes just take forever.
I'm just glad I can create playlists again.
